the black painted top with fan motif and foliated border, above frieze with oak leafs and fox heads with hunting horn, the central section with three open book shelves, the sides with losenge panels with painted floral baskets.

Condition
Overall in fair country house condition, the decoration worn is areas and refreshed in others, namely to gilt highlighting. Small marks of old wood worm, marks and scratches throughout consistent with age and use, cracking to banding of top. One small loss to painting on left door
