Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. In places, the adhesive affixing the letters to their glass backing has discoloured the paper sheets, four of which have slipped slightly along the glass backing. Passages of ink on the letters have faded with time. Any creases or small nicks are consistent with the artist's working method.

"... If Pashtoonestan was to be annexed by Afghanistan, it will lose its identity and then if you ask anyone in Europe if they know Afghanistan, the answer will be yes but people will barely know what Afghanistan consists of."
