Condition

Overall in good condition. Signed in pencil, the signature then traced in black ink. With ½ inch tear at lower left sheet edge that has been backed with Japan paper. The left sheet edge with a pale discoloration. The coloration of the print when viewed in person is consistent with the presentation in the printed catalogue. When viewed in person, the distant hills to the proper left side of the work are slightly more pink in tone than they appear in the catalogue illustration. With an old (possibly period) giltwood frame. The frame with small and minor rubbing and edge wear, and some associated minor edge losses. The frame nicely complements the artwork.
