Condition

Overall in very good condition. The hand-hammered copper surfaces throughout with some light surface scratches and abrasions, rubbing, and with a few occasional small enamel losses consistent with age and use. Some of the outer contours of the pieces with some minor irregular bending; the two boxes with minor bending to the corners. The frame with a few small scattered areas of in-painting to the red and green enameled decoration. The back of the frame with some minor edge wear and oxidation where the stand meets the back on the left side. The footed box with a small green enamel loss on the top (1/4 inch), and with a few small areas of in-painting to the green enamel on the box front. A highly attractive group, most notably distinguished by the impressive and bold footed box which is beautifully articulated.
