Condition
This work is in good condition. There is evidence of minor creases and wrinkles across the surface of the painting. There is a small hole 15 cm from the bottom and 65 cm from the right edge of the work and a few scattered paint losses, predominantly one 5 cm from the top and 88 cm from the left and one flaking paint 33 cm from the left and 60 cm from the bottom edge. There is an abrasion 10 cm from the top and 70 cm from the left edge and a tear and a paint loss 80 cm from the left and 5 cm from the right edge of the painting. There are slight accretions across the surface of the paintings, presumably inherent to the artistÂ’s working method.
