Catalogue Note

"Based on Chinese ontological poetries and meditations, Richard Lin's White Series not only encapsulates the Taoist concept of 'Emptiness' and 'Ethereal', it also creates a naturalistic Zen spatial setting pertaining to the poetry Xiao Yao You. He gave a post-modern interpretation to the blankness in Chinese scholastic painting."
