Description

the bronze capital with double headed eagles to each corner above palmettes

Condition

Small chips to the edges and corners of the tops; one top with two larger chips approximately 1 by 1 inch and the other 1.5 by 1 inch; tops are revolving. The capitals are with original gilding but with typical wear and losses to gilding consistent with age and cleaning and now showing bare bronze in places; usual larger chips to bottom edges of bases; bottom of columns with brown bronze and not gilded.
