the frieze fitted with three drawers, the right hand side drawer fitted with a safe, each corner with a large espagnolette chute and Bacchic mask to the sides, the bronze border signed F. Linke, one lock has been removed to reveal the CT. LINKE stamp and the index number 795

Condition

Overall in good condition with the usual minor scratches, dents and nicks to veneers and carcass consistent with age and use. Tarnishing to gilt-bronze in places; water stains around mounts but conservation to those stains can be done with wax or varnish; minor occasional chips to veneers, with largest being a 1/2 inch loss to inner side of one leg.
