Description

each signed CHRISTOFLE & CIE and finely decorated with May Lily and Wisteria blossoms

Condition

Two candle arms are detached but present and need to be tightened back with a screw from the inside; no losses to enamels but with wear to gilt highlights in places, mostly around the base and the top of handles.

Catalogue Note

The present model candelabra recorded in the Christofle archives under number 4188 were originally accompanied by a small jardinière centerpiece, number 4187, and this three piece garniture model was exhibited at the Chicago Universal Exhibition of 1893.
