Description

  • 25.5 cm; 31.5 cm; 24 cm
all sides inlaid with fruiting vines, the lid decorated with a bird amongst cherry branches and opening to a silk lined interior

Condition

Overall in fair condition with the usual minor nicks and chips consistent with age and use, the gilt bronze mounts showing dirt in crevices, two visible losses to pietra dura branches decorating the lid and a small loss to the branch decorating the back side of the box
