the upper structure surmounted by a stepped cornice with brocatelle violette du Jura marble tops above three small drawers flanked by a cupboard opening to one shelf, the lower structure centered by three frieze drawers beneath a pullout writing surface, the gilt bronze upper border has been removed to reveal many marks ZN from the bronze master models
Condition
Overall in fair condition, with the usual minor dents, nicks and scratches to veneer consistent with age and use. Tarnishing and wear to gilt bronze.
Two replacements to bronze bandings to the proper front right side and proper right side of the upper structure beneath the gallery. Those replacements are made of beaded bandings and are approx. 2" long each.
The two marble tops above the porcelain plaques will need to be reglued to the cabinet.
There is a small restoration of veneer to the proper right bottom side of the upper cabinet. Some visible wear to gilt highlights of the Sèvres style porcelain plaques.
