surmounted by a molded fleur de pĂȘcher marble top above a long frieze drawer and two drawers sans traverse, the back with a metal label printed Cia NACIONAL de MEUBLES/'DESCOTTE'/Avda de Mayo 853-B. AIRES/34 Bd Haussmann-PARIS.
Condition
Overall in good and fair condition with the usual minor scratches, dents and nicks to veneers and carcass consistent with age and use. Tarnishing, dirt and wear to gilt bronze in places. The marble with the usual minor chips to edges, scratches to surface consistent with age and use.
A gilt bronze molded edge is lacking to the lower side of the cabinet (to the front). The gilt bronze molding would have been a convex shape like the one showing on each side.
The proper lefthand side of the marble to its back shows a restored crack.
