Overall in good original condition and presentation, with the usual tarnishing and loss of gilding to gilt bronze, especially to high relief and top of lids. Minute chips to edges of marble base. Light green oxidation points in places. The marble stone shows some area of filler, not as a consequence of breaks but being original to the manufacture of the vase in order to consolidate the porous nature of the stone in few places.
