The surface of the pedestals is eroded from weather damage. Tarnishing to gilt bronze on all bronze elements. The underside of the feet of the figures is hollow, implying that the figures were formerly mounted as side candelabras of a fireplace or a larger column and stairway. We believe that the present lot is therefore put together and associated to the present column pedestals. Good presentation overall.
