the upper structure surmounted by the enfant guerrier sitting on a lion pelt above a clock and five drawers, the sliding writing surface above three frieze drawers, one floral mount has been removed to reveal the mark MB from the bronze master model

Condition

Overall in good condition with the usual minor scratches, dents and nicks to veneers and carcass consistent with age and use. Tarnishing to gilt-bronze in places. Extensive tarnishing, wear and dirt to gilt bronze mounts. Extensive scratches to black leather writing surface. Some restoration to veneer along horizontal cracks.
