Catalogue Note
Meynard et Fils was established at 50, rue du Faubourg-Saint-Antoine. Léon-Guillaume Meynard (b. 1838) worked with his father Guillaume-Mathieu Meynard and grandfather, showing at all of the exhibitions and receiving a gold medal at the 1878 Exhibition in Paris. Léon-Guillaume sold the business to Frager in 1889.
