Condition
This painting has not been lined, though 6 patches (the largest being approximately 5 by 3 inches) are visible on the reverse. There are minor paint losses along the lower edge and there is a fain scrape in the extreme upper left. There is fine, broad craquellure across the whole painting and minor lifting of paint in the center. Under UV, broad areas of inpainting fluoresce which correspond to the patches on the reverse, concentrated on the left side, as do significant touch-ups throughout.
