First edition, 2 volumes, folio (524 x 355mm.), text in German and French, additional hand-coloured engraved title in volume 1, 2 engraved head-pieces, 91 hand-coloured engraved plates, later black half morocco over nineteenth-century cloth boards, Perth crest gilt on spines, [Nissen ZBI 2227], without portrait (as normal), one plate bound out of order, vol.1 final text leaf with paper flaw in gutter, vol.2 with minor dampstaining in upper margin
