Condition
Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 5 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout. The patinated bronze surfaces display a rich russet brown and green patina, with minimal surface wear and rubbing to the patina, and with a few occasional small and minor patina losses consistent with age and gentle use. One screw (out of 6) missing on the interior of the ring collar. All of the bronze hardware accompanying this lot is period and assumingly original to the lantern, including the ceiling plate, bronze link chains and sockets. With some minor traces of house paint to the top edges of the ceiling plate. An impressive example of this rare model, displaying strong sculptural presence. A rare opportunity to find the model with such elaborate period hardware.
