Condition
Overall in excellent condition. The favrile glass shade is in excellent condition, with a few very small and minor air bubble inclusions inherent in the making. The top aperture rim of the shade is in excellent condition with no chips or flecks. The shade displays superbly defined feather decoration with strong color and iridescence. The shade is beautifully iridized and when viewed with reflected light displays brilliantly saturated luminous color to the blue pulled feather decoration. The counter-balance base displays an exceptionally rich russet brown and green patina with very light rubbing consistent with age and gentle use. The base retains its original socket, paddle switch and bronze screw terminals which secure the shade. A fine example of this counterbalance lamp model, displaying exceptionally strong decoration and color to the shade.
