Condition
Overall in very good condition. The four leaded glass shades with only 1-2 possible cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout. The Turtle-Back glass tiles in the center of each panel are in very good condition with no visible cracks. The gilt framing on the shades with minor surface wear and scattered traces of surface discoloration. The gilt bronze armatures with some occasional surface scratches and abrasions, rubbing to the patina, and scattered areas of surface discoloration (most notably to the wall plates) consistent with age and use. Each of the shades swivel on two arms which fit to a collar below each individual socket, so the position of each shade is adjustable. All of the sockets and paddle switches appear to be original and undisturbed. The sconces display beautifully and look wonderful en suite with the companion pair offered in lot 327.
