Condition
Overall in excellent condition. The favrile glass with some occasional scattered pin-head size air bubble inclusions inherent in the making, and with exceedingly minor and light traces of puddling to the iridescence to the bottom interior, also inherent in the making and part of the process of spraying iridescence to the interior. The underside of the foot with minor traces of surface residue and a few tiny remnants of an old paper label. The form of this vase is exceptionally elegant, displaying beautiful elongated proportions, a particularly thin and finely decorated stem, and vigorously undulating folds to the irregular top rim. The pulled feather decoration is artistic and particularly well-defined, and the interior and underside of the foot are strongly iridized imparting the vase with beautiful color and luminosity. The vase shows far greater subtleties to its decoration and color than seen in the catalogue illustration which is over saturated.
