Condition
Chairs have been re-upholstered, fabric is generally stained, dirty and worn, and both chairs require re-springing and re-upholstering. The frames are generally sound, with some opening at joints and general marks and scratches, commensurate with age and use. Metal strips at the top edges are somewhat worn, scratched and discoloured, and there are a few spots of verdigris to the metal sabots. One chair has a block to the underside of one front leg, visible in the right hand chair in the catalogue illustration. With judicious restoration and re-upholstery these will make a handsome pair.
