Condition
Wood is slightly darker in colour with better contrast than suggested by catalogue illustration. Generally old marks and scratches overall, with some cracking to surface commensurate with age and use. One scroll at end of one side rail has been detached and crudely re-stuck. There are recesses at the centre of the bottom of the inside of the head and foot boards for a fixing, now lacking. Some spotting, particularly to headboard, where it may have been damp at some time. Otherwise sound.
