Description
- Painted Pine or Poplar
- 94cm. high, 118cm. wide, 56cm. wide; 3ft. 1in., 3ft. 10½in., 1ft. 10in.
with three long drawers, the whole painted with ribbon-tied floral sprays, flowers and rocaille, on cabriole legs, with a later glass top; some refreshment to painting
Condition
In overall good conserved condition.The top is quite scratched with some losses to and rubbing to painted decoration. Old minor marks and chips commensurate with age. There is a vertical construction crack down the left side when facing which will need some attention. There are some minor hairline cracks generally, commensurate with age and use, but these do not detract from the piece. The gilding has been refreshed. The front apron is possibly a later replacement.
