Description

  • Gilded pine, poplar, or walnut
  • the pair 33.5cm high., 21cm wide; 40.5cm. high., 28.5cm; 1ft. 1¼in., 8¼in., 1ft. 4in., 11¼in.
the pierced frames carved with scrolls, flowers and leaves the basin with husks on a trelis work ground, together with another,  first quarter 18th century carved with a canopy and scrollwork centred by a later image of the Madonna and child

Condition

In generally good conserved condition. Old repaired breaks to the carving of all three. Minor chips and marks throughout consistent with age and use. Very beautiful detail to the carving.
