Description

  • ceramic and silver-gilt
  • 20cm, 8 in high
of baluster form with eleborate scroll handles and serpent spouts, one with continuous scene of figures on horseback crossing a river in an extensive mountainous landscape, the other with a continuous Kauffahrtei scene below black lined gilt trellis borders, the spout, handle and foot picked out in burnished gilding, each high domed cover with a further riverside scene and with silver mounts
