Catalogue Note

Reproduced, as the twentieth of fifty colour plates, within Stories from The Arabian Nights (Hodder and Stoughton, 1907). The illustration, dated 1906, shows Mustapha leading a blindfolded Baba Mustapha from 'Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves'. The frame backing includes two labels from The Leicester Galleries exhibition, both worn.
