Condition
Overall in very good condition. The favrile glass shade is in excellent condition, with a few very small and minor air bubble inclusions inherent in the making. The shade with beautifully defined pulled-feather decoration with strong color and iridescence throughout. The patinated bronze surfaces display a rich brown patina, with surface wear and minor rubbing consistent with age and gentle use, as seen in the catalogue illustration. The top surface of the base with surface soiling to the recessed elements of the decorative scheme, and as a result the surface would benefit from a gentle waxing. The socket and base switch appear to be original and undisturbed. With period finial. An attractive example of the form displaying elegant proportions.
