Overall in very good condition. The favrile glass shade is in excellent condition, with a few very small and minor air bubble inclusions inherent in the making. The shade with a beautifully defined pulled-feather decoration with strong color and iridescence. The patinated bronze surfaces display a rich green and russet brown patina, with very minimal surface wear, rubbing and a few minor areas of oxidation consistent with age and gentle use. This base is inset with turtleback tiles displaying a rich tone and nice iridescence. One of the tiles with a small crack to the lower corner and with an associated fleck to the front surface of the tile. This tile and fleck are slightly loose to the touch and would benefit from being stabilized by a Tiffany or glass conservator. The socket and switch appear to be original and undisturbed. A beautiful example displaying a rare and highly desirable base paring.
