Overall in very good condition. The Turtle-Back glass tiles in the shade appear original and undisturbed, with no visible cracks. The Turtle-Back tiles are strongly iridized, and when viewed with reflected light display brilliantly saturated luminous color. The lead lines adjacent to each of the Turtle-Back tiles present with some white discolorations throughout as seen in the catalogue illustration. The Turtle-Back tiles are backed to the interior of the shade with translucent white glass panels which are in very good condition without any visible cracks. The favrile glass jewels inset in the base are in very good condition and appear undisturbed and with no visible cracks. The bronze surfaces display a rich russet brown and green patina. There is some minor surface soiling and rubbing to the bronze elements as expected from age and gentle use. The base retains its original socket and paddle switch. A fine example of this jeweled Turtle-Back tile lamp model, displaying excellent color to the shade.
