Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 15-18 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout. The shade leading is beautifully rendered with very fine lines and displays an exceptionally rich russet brown and green patina. The patinated bronze surfaces of the base display a rich and vibrant green patina with russet brown highlights. The bronze surfaces with very minimal surface wear and gentle rubbing consistent with age and gentle use. With a small surface abrasion (slightly flattened at the outermost edge) to one small area of the applied coiled decoration at the top of the base standard (1/4 inch). All of the sockets and paddle switches appear to be original and undisturbed, and with a period finial. With one old felt glide on the underside of one foot, and subtle traces of adhesive from a former glide on another foot. A superb example of the model displaying a highly artistic and thoughtful glass selection distinguished by the use of deep cobalt and purple background glass and vigorously mottled glass articulating the daffodil blossoms.
