Condition

Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 4 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout. The shade leading is rendered with particularly fine and thin lines, displaying a rich brown patina. The exterior shade leading with a few very small and minor edge losses, and with a few occasional surface abrasions from prior surface contact. The patinated bronze surfaces of the base display a rich russet brown patina, with minimal surface wear, some occasional minor surface abrasions and gentle rubbing consistent with age and very gentle use. With some light surface soiling to the recessed contours of the base. All of the sockets appear original and undisturbed, as does the decorative bronze base switch which is fully functional. With a rare period Acorn finial. A particularly attractive example of this elegant model with beautifully mottled glass which imparts the shade with strong visual interest. Please note that the base has two impressed signatures: TIFFANY STUDIOS/NEW YORK/S.184 and TIFFANY STUDIOS/NEW YORK/373.
