Condition
Overall in very good condition. The favrile glass shade is in excellent condition, with a few very small and minor air bubble inclusions inherent in the making. The shade with some small surface flecks along the top aperture rim, which is exceedingly minor and not visible when the shade is installed. The shade with beautifully articulated and defined feather decoration and strong iridescence. The counter-balance base displays a deep rich russet brown and green patina with gentle rubbing and some minor surface abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. The base retains its original base switch, socket and paddle switch, as well as all three of its bronze screw terminals which secure the shade. The counterweight is fitted with turtleback tiles which re subtly iridized. The counter weight with some minor rubbing to the patination and a shallow surface fleck, measuring ΒΌ x 1/8 inch, to one of the turtleback tiles. A very attractive example of this rare and highly desirable model.
