Condition
This large, dramatic print is on double-weight paper with a slightly warm tonality. The paper has a velvety matte surface. The seahorse stands out in bold relief against the neutral tones of the surrounding image. The print is in essentially in excellent condition. When examined closely in high raking light, several faint scuffs can be seen in the print's matte surface: these do not break the emulsion. Several small white specks in the image are due to dust on the negative during printing, and are not physical features of the print itself. There is some insignificant soiling on the reverse. None of these issues diminishes the impact of this dramatic print.
