Condition

Original canvas. The paint surface is slightly dirty. There are small flecks of paint loss to the three branches and foliage of the tree to the left, with further spots to the left and above the house. The paint has been quite thinly applied in places. There are fne lines of craquelure in places, for example above the white house on the right. UV light reveals no apparent retouching although some pigments fluoresce. Held in a moulded gold painted frame. Unexamined out of frame.
