Condition

Original canvas. The varnish has slightly discoloured. There are spots of paint loss along the top right corner, possibly due to frame abrasion, and a further spot to the lower left corner. There are light lines of craquelure visible in the sky. UV light reveals strengthening to the inscription and the signature. Held in a black painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
