Condition
The canvas has been laid down onto another canvas. There are faint lines of craquelure throughout and a few minor flecks of surface dirt. The outer edges are slightly worn. UV light reveals infilling and retouching to the sitter's hair, in places to her face. to the upper edge and further minor areas of retouching elsewhere. Held in a gold painted moulded plaster frame. Unexamined out of frame.
