the doors with pierced and scrolling ornament, angels and seraphim, also with enameled Neo-Byzantine ornament opening to reveal the icon of the Mother of God of Smolensk rendered in bright colors on a gold ground, the columns and borders enameled en champlevé, the reverse with a shaped and decorated strut
