Description

The square top with incurved corners and with red lacquer to the interior, the high solid gallery inlaid with mother-of-pearl in geometric patterns on black ground, the sides continuing to shaped brackets, now supported on a modern brass stand of conforming shape with simulated bamboo legs and stretchers.

Condition

Fair condition; the top edge with some small losses to the mother-of-pearl edging; three corners of the frieze and one side with losses to mother-of-pear inlay and edging; the brass base with pitting and dirt.
