Condition

Le Croquet: The margins are full. There are a series of tears along the plate edge and laid lines, with associated smaller attendant tears. Two of the former extend horizontally through the image just below center. The sheet has been backed with a wove support. There is a window of dark light-stain around the image, darkest at the mat opening. Le Journal: The margins are toned throughout, recto and verso, due to exposure to an acidic mat, darkest at the mat opening.
