Pastel on blue paper, the second and third graphite heightened with white on light blue and green paper, each verso signed and initialed in pencil by the artist's daughter-in-law, Patricia Lewis, the pastel also signed a second time by P.L. in ink, each framed (3 drawings)
Condition
The drawings are in good condition. Individual imperfections are as follows:
Moylan Place: There is a small 1 inch tear at the upper left sheet edge. A trace of ink at center right, two small orange marks upper left sheet edge, the sheet softly waved at top, a hard crease along lower left corner. The verso with time stain at the sheet edges.
Study for 2 A.M.: Two pin holes each at upper corners, three spots of faint discoloration. Verso with remains of linen hinges at corners.
