Condition

The colors attenuated and the signatures faded. The support sheet foxed throughout with additional mat stain in the margins, an infrequent fox mark at the image edges. The support with paper losses along the upper sheet edge.

Catalogue Note

Blanche Lazzell lists The Graveyard in her record book as her third woodblock print, and the second to be created in Provincetown.  This is the first known example of this rare and early print.
