flush-mounted, signed, titled, annotated 'American Landscape,' numbered in pencil and ink, and with a Museum of Modern Art Loan label and the photographer's credit, reproduction rights, and copyright stamps on the reverse, 1956 (Aerial Photographs, pl. 56)
Exhibited
New York, The Museum of Modern Art, The Photographer and the American Landscape, September - November 1963
Condition
This photograph, on paper with a semi-glossy surface and mounted to sturdy board, is in generally very good to excellent condition. Upon close examination in raking light, various small scratches, impressions, scuffs, and tiny deposits of original retouching are visible overall; this does not in any way detract from the overall fine appearance of this print.
On the reverse of the mount are the following notations: 'Top' (in ink); '18' (in pencil); and '#5.29-1735' (in ink). The copyright stamp is dated '56.' The typed loan number on the MoMA loan label on the reverse of the mount is '63.1377.'
