Condition
This mural-sized print is in generally excellent condition. As is typical of Esser's work, the colors are somewhat neutral. Nonetheless, they remain saturated and do not appear to have faded. Visible upon very close examination in high raking light are scattered hairline scuffs to the Diasec front.
The photographer's studio label indicates that this print is number 2 in an edition of 7. There is a Sonnabend, New York, gallery label on the reverse of the frame, with the alternate title, 'Cap-Antifer - Etretat La Manneport.'
