Condition

This reprographic print and the collage elements are in generally very good condition. There are tack holes in the corners of the slick poster board mount. The corners of the mount are bumped and creased, with some loss to the upper paper ply at the lower right corner. The edges are rubbed, and there is intermittent light soiling on both the front and back of the mount. The photographs consist of six 3 x 5-inch black and white prints of Zara Beard in a bathtub and a portion of a color print of a woman with a dog. The reproductions and clippings are as follows: a portion of a cigarette advertisement with the Surgeon General's warning and the word 'Rush' in red a color image of Nicole and O. J. Simpson cooking together a portrait of Kamante Gatura, circa 1961 an image of Dan Aykroyd as Beldar Conehead a torn segment from the 'New York Times' "Dear Diary" column regarding Christo, which the photographer has underlined and dated March 9th, 1994 in blue ink 2 images of nude women a woman holding her forefinger, with what appears to be whipped cream on it, to her opened mouth a hospital bed a torn advertisement relating to decolletage 7 images of dogs and horses a partial newspaper article entitled 'Letting Go of Clutter' a partial newspaper image with a man carrying a sign that says 'The End of the World is Near' a torn image of two toddlers sitting on chamber pots images of a phone with a tongue extension, and a woman using the phone A National Wildlife Federation stamp of a Nuttall's Cottontail (rabbit).
