the first oval, three-colour gold, engine-turned within chased laurel borders, Charles Le Bastier, charge and discharge marks of Jean-Baptiste Fouache, Paris, 1776, numbered: 8 0/6 2, 6.7cm, 2 5/8 in ; a circular reeded box, chased in four-colour gold with a trophy of love, tortoiseshell lining, apparently unmarked, circa 1785, diameter 7.7 cm, 3 in ; and a smaller circular bonbonnière, scattered with stars on concentric reeding, three-colour gold chased convolvulus borders, Toussaint-François Pillieux, Paris titre et garantie and bear's head titre 1798-1809, diameter 6cm, 2 3/8 in
