Condition

The picture is unlined. Small pin dot size retouches are extensively applied in face, chest, drapery. This is less so, but still scattered, in legs and arms. Retouches are more broadly applied throughout background and this is combined with an uneven varnish in the background. Retouches in the face are well applied, though in chest they more obvious to the naked eye. It is not recommended to completely re-start a restoration campaign, as many have been well applied, though they are numerous. A more localized restoration in areas where they are less carefully applied would however be recommended. In a carved gilt wood frame.
