Woodcut, circa 1496, a good, possibly Meder e impression, before the break in the monogram, on paper with a Chalice of Augsburg watemark (M. 80, circa 1550-1530)

Condition

Trimmed to or on the borderline, area above tree at upper left made up with a pen and ink borderline, a diagonal repaired tear across the upper right corner, other repairs at corners, two central horizontal folds with associated tears and repairs backed verso, a soft diagonal crease extending across upper left of sheet, the letter 'a' inscribed in pen and ink in the blank area of the clouds recto, other minor defects (mainly along edges of sheet), recommend viewing before bidding, unframed.
