Engraving, circa 1510, a very good impression of the first state (of two), before the vertical scratch on the back of the boy, printing with contrast, on paper with a Shield with Crowned Letter R watermark (Briquet 8993, dated 1499)

Condition
Trimmed well outside the borderline below, just outside elsewhere, two vertical central folds showing through recto (broken through in places), occasional pen and ink enhancements on the borderline, a vertical repaired tear (circa 10mm) at upper edge at right, a horizontal tear (circa 4mm) at upper right edge through man's face, minor surface dirt, unframed.
